DIGITAL COOKBOOK

Our current selection of recipes is collected from home cooks, farmers, street food vendors, and Buddhist monks, from South Korea.

However, with the launching of the website, we are opening up the platform as a participatory cookbook that allows everyone to download our recipes or submit their own to open mouths and open minds.

We prioritize low-waste, plant-based, or low-heat/electricity recipes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

COOK ALONG WITH US

To help learn the recipes better, we run a series of bi-weekly live sessions, called Open Fridge session. We not only cook together but also provide a quick informative talk on the historical and nutritional value of each dish as well.

Each session is recorded and uploaded onto your Youtube channel and we always encourage engagement within the community to help each other learn and unlearn food knowledge.

Implicit Association Test (IAT) is a test made in 1998 by Harvard to measure racial bias. Now it is widely used to show implicit judgments that manifest under the control of automatic evaluation in all different kinds of biases. DYT has built one to measure the bias between Western and Eastern food to highlight and dismantle the internal biases that we all have. Check your personal or cultural biases!
