How to store our product

  • The best temperature to store kimchi is 1-2℃ which can prolong the life of kimchi for years if left unopened.

  • However, kimchi can be stored for months before it becomes wilted with conventional fridges, depending on how much the temperature fluctuates and how tough the natural toughness of the veg is. For example, traditional napa cabbage kimchi can be kept for 2-3 months but brussel sprout kimchi can be kept for 4-5 months.

  • When it becomes too sour for your preference, it is perfect to be cooked instead of eaten as side dishes or toppings.

  • If exposed to saliva, there is a risk of spoilage, but if kept clean and closed, it will prevent oxidization and spoilage.

  • Jangajji doesn't need to be refrigerated when unopened, but once it is opened, it will keep in the fridge for 4-6 months.
